It has been awhile since our last post since we were in Italy and internet cost up to 5 € for 15 minutes. It was nuts. Anyway were in France now staying in the Alsace region for free at a friends. Were quite tired. Today we visited a concentration camp
We have tons of amazing pictures, more than we can handle.

House of Anne frank
on of the museums we went to is the house of Anne frank since we both read it in school. It was great to actually get a sense of the real thing. Plust there was an amzing interactive film after that I'd love to tell you about.
Femo - fast food
after that long walk through the redlight district time for a snack plop your euro coins in and open the door and there you go a cheeseburger. mmmm
Red light district
Roxanne you don not have to put on the red light tonight! well very intersting and not what i expected. a lot of sex shop and marijuana shops in which we partook in neither. live sex shows no thank you. we did stroll down the avenue to witness hords of men staring at the women that were in glass rooms. RA
Dam Square
that's right i swore that dam square i would never go there again after what happened! just joking. This square is in amsterdam. - you should've guessed whre it was located becasue of the suffix. We didn't hjave a lot of time in amsterdam so it kinda of felt like we were in the amazing race rushing from on place to the next in time to meet the bus to leave to the next stop! good fun.
The gerkan - pickle
i'm not sure if that is how it is spelled but whatever i'm on vacation. apparently it has no special function other than office space how boring! but quite interesting to look at.
Wicked!
Well that definetly describes how the musical was wicked! Dena said it was the best musical he has ever seen and he isn't partial to musicals which says a lot. it was great even from the nose bleed section we were sitting in. he liked it so much he bought a souvenir programme! for those going to toronto go see it it is about the witches form wizard of oz
Ravens at London tower
The raven definelty appeared much larger in person than it does in this photo. he was making some interesting clucking noises that led me to believe i was invading his or her space so I didn't linger for too long.
London Tower
we had aabout one hour to tour London tower before we had to run to a musical so we blurred through it. We enjoyed the white tower arsenal. It was the place where Ann Boleyn was executed along with countless others. It also house the queens family jewels. Lot of diamond encrusted crowns.

Sue - dean's Friend
How lucky a tour guide for a day! We are at picadelly Circus and Sue is showing us the local shops - where the deals are and mostly aren't with the canadian dollar - ouch. I tried to make the mood a little bit lighter and off our pocketbooks with my jokester poses for the photos - hehehe - RA
We found so many interesting things here. If you look closely you can see some wooden ties in the background. There was also an amazing T-shirt shop with shirts that say 'I found Jesus behind the couch' and 'All the crayons know the purple one is gay', just hilarious stuff. Thanks Sue, we owe you one!!! - Dean

English telephone booth - not a toilet.
Since being newlyweds I got a little randy and pushed dean into the closest telephone booth for a quick peck - oh someone caught us too bad. - RA
Mayor's Thames festival
We decidded to go for a walk at night and ran into this. What are the chances! whoa.-RA
Typical English Pub
Wow wouldn't you want to have your dinner here to. Well we tried but they hung us instead. no just joking they didn't serve dinner past 5 so we had to go for italian. Funny thing is that most of our meals here have been italian. I think we have only had one English meal and it was in a pub! Dean had Steak & Ale Pie. I tried it, I don't know about the steak and ale but the pie part was smashing! - those Italians make a mean ciabatta sandwich. - RA
Merchant of Venice
What would be a trip to London without standing for three hours watching a classic shakespeare show? Well we thought 5 pounds was a steal, of course we will stand for three hours - no problem. Man are my legs tired good show though. - RA
Best Shakespeare show I've ever SEEN - Dean

Dean at Trefalgar
Dean thought he would try to impress me by seeing how many pigeons he could attract. Little did he know that i wasn't going to touch him for the rest of the day until he had a shower to get rid of the pigeon smell. haha jokes on him! - RA

Rose-Anne & Dean in London
What an amazing day. We've got a real glimpse of London. I can't wait for tommorrow. Today we found our hostel at Globetrotter village, we went to Shakespeare's Globe, we figured out how transit worked, we walked all over and saw London Bridge, the tower of London (from the outside). We had some amazing food. I never knew a baguette with brie cheese and Italian Salami could be so refreshing. (Or fish and chips for that matter). London in many ways feels like a place that was built up until the 1920's and has stayed in that era for a very long time. There's a lot of soot and cleanliness isn't as big a deal here. But there are also some new progressive buildings and many interesting people. We're staying in a place that looks like Coronotation Street. Some of the houses would go for £500,000 for a one bedroom apartment. It is quite insane. I'll update with more tomorrow.
Shakespeare's Globe Theatre
What a great experience it was tour Shakespeare's Globe Theatre. We had so much fun. On Tuesday we'll be going to see the Merchant of Venice here and we'll be standing for 3 hours just like in the old days.
